CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE 6 APRIL 2021
Dear Clients
Hope this finds you all well, healthy and safe.
We are awaiting further announcement which is expected on 20th April 2021 to provide a definite reopening date for close contact services. At the moment (if all goes to plan), we are looking at 26th April. As with the previous lockdown, we are adhering to government guidelines and offering limited treatments and reduced treatment times. For your convenience our online booking system is now open.
Clients looking to have brow or lash services (e.g. HD Brows, LVL Lashes, brow or lash tinting) are requested to come in for a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. Unfortunately, we will not be able to carry out any of these treatments without a patch test. We are available on 26th April (subject to government announcement) to do patch testing. You can pre-book a free patch test appointment online by selecting 'eye treatments' from the list of services, click patch test and choose a suitable date and time. Please note that clients should wait 2 weeks after receiving the COVID vaccine before getting a patch test. This will allow enough time for any symptoms to present themselves and not be mistaken for a patch test reaction. Having a vaccination is classed as a change in medical history and as a result another patch test will be required following the second dose.
We are pleased to advise that any unused gift vouchers that have expired during lockdown will be extended for a further 6 months from 1 May 2021.

Further to our recent update, we are pleased to inform you that the Scottish Government has announced the guidelines for salons and spas in preparation for our reopening on 22nd July 2020. For more information, please click this link:

We cannot wait to welcome all our clients back to the salon with enhanced hygiene measures and adhering to strict government guidelines. Certain treatments may have a reduced treatment time (as detailed on our

Dear Clients
We are pleased to inform you that the First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, has announced today that Beauty Salons are able to reopen again on 22 July.
We are waiting for government guidelines and hopefully they will be available very soon. The guidelines will give us more clarity regarding what treatments we can/cannot offer or precautions needed for us to perform the treatments safely.
We would like to draw your attention to our new Salon Protocols (see our previous update below). Please familiarise yourself with these important protocols, so you come prepared when you visit the salon. For your convenience, we are now taking online bookings as the salon is still closed. Appointments made online can be changed easily or cancel if necessary. We request that you give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel to allow us to offer the appointment to other clients.
We will update you once more when we have further information.

Dear Clients
We would like to start by thanking you for your ongoing support and loyalty during such unprecedented times. We would also like to thank you for all your emails, text and social media messages supporting us throughout this difficult time.
With the opening date hopefully not too far away now, we have been busy planning for the reopen and welcome you back to our Salon. We would like to assure all our clients that we have fully reviewed and implemented even more stringent cleaning and hygiene policies than we already had in place, prioritising Health And Safety when you visit us ensuring that we do our part to help prevent the spread of the virus. Our therapist have undertaken specialist training regarding sterilisation and has passed The Barbicide Covid19 Certification Program, Back to Beauty Covid19 Hygiene and Safety as well as Loreal Group #SafeTogether Covid19 e-learning course to show our dedication to infection control. We want to ensure you have an enjoyable, clean and safe experience when you visit us. As things in the Salon are going to be a little different, we ask all clients to adhere to the following to ensure you are ready for your visit:-
For your convenience, our online booking system is now open. Although there is no set date, we are expecting a high demand for appointments when we reopen. We recommend booking well in advance to avoid disappointment. You have the flexibility to reschedule appointments online with minimum fuss. Please note, initially we can only offer limited services with shorter treatment times. We will review this and add more services when further government guidelines are announced.
We are pleased to advise regarding unused gift vouchers which have expired during the lockdown. These can still be accepted until 30th November 2020.
We would also like to take this opportunity to inform our Environ Skincare products customers that due to the salon being currently closed, our supplier is offering a dropshipping service i.e. orders will be shipped directly to your doorstep at no extra charge. lf you need any products, please email or PM us on facebook.

In line with the latest Government and local health authorities guidelines, we have been monitoring the situation closely as it unfolds and making decisions to protect everyone's health and safety. As of Tuesday 24 March 2020, it is with great sadness but a necessary course of action that our Salon will temporarily closed until further notice.
We will contact anyone who has made a booking with us in April to discuss postponement of your appointment. We would also like to give assurance to all those with gift vouchers due for expiry during this period, to be extended for a further 6 months.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update our website and Facebook page with relevant information regarding re-opening. Thank you for your understanding and loyal support.

As things in the Salon are going to be a little different, we ask all clients to adhere to the following to ensure you are ready for your visit:-
- Clients will receive a Client Consent For Treatment During Covid19 Pandemic Form in digital format. This will be emailed to you ahead of your scheduled appointment. Please ensure that you read the document thoroughly. Have the form filled-in, signed and dated and return to us electronically using the 'SUBMIT' button.
- Please reschedule your appointment with as much notice as possible if you or anyone you have come into contact with feel unwell, have symptoms of Coronavirus (including high temperature, new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of taste or smell), have tested positive or are waiting for a test for Coronavirus.
- In the event that you are unwell regardless of whether this is related to Covid-19 (e.g. everyday coughs or colds), you will need to reschedule your appointment for a time when you are well. It is imperative that we keep a safe and sterile work place for the well being of our customers and staff.
- Cancellation fees are temporarily suspended for illness related rescheduling.
- Please attend your appointment alone.
- Do not arrive too early for your appointment to limit client contact and allow us time to sanitise and disinfect between each appointment.
- Please bring minimal personal belongings with you. Avoid bringing unnecessary items such as large bags, shopping, coats or umbrellas. If possible, leave your mobile phone in the car.
- Please wear a face mask to your appointment. You must put this on before entering the salon. If you do not have a mask, we can provide one at cost price.
- Once inside the salon you will be required to follow strict hygiene practises including hand sanitising upon arrival and before leaving the salon. You will also be given a pair of overshoes to put on.
- Mandatory temperature checks will be carried out to ensure the safety of everyone.
- Perspex screens are used at reception and manicure desks as additional precautionary measures. Appropriate PPE will be worn by therapist at all times and continue to maintain a strict regime of hand washing and sanitisation.
- To maintain a high level of cleanliness and avoid cross contamination we will be using disposable items as much as possible. Where not possible, any reusable items will be properly sanitised and disinfected between each use.
- Eco-friendly single use towels, mitts, headbands will be used for each client. Otherwise, as per our normal salon practise, towels and linens will be changed after each client and washed at 60C to kill viruses.
- Any frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, reception desk, switches, sinks, taps, trolleys etc will be regularly sanitised and disinfected throughout the day - with most being cleaned between clients.
- Magazines and leaflets will not be available.
- No handling of product testers. Please ask for assistance if you want to try anything.
- Strictly no eating in salon and for safety reasons we will not be providing drinks. Please bring your own drink in a closed container.
- No walk-in appointments will be accepted.
- Contactless, Apple Pay or Android payment recommended at checkout. Clients can make advanced payment in full at the time of booking online. Cash will still be accepted but insist that it be placed in an envelope to avoid contact and cross contamination.
